Robert A. Meadows, age 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 15, 2017. He was a graduate of Auburn University, 1956, where he was a member of Delta Chi fraternity. Mr. Meadows retired after 37 years of service with Protective Life Insurance Company. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Eleanor Ray Forman Meadows, his parents, Daniel L. Meadows and Clara L. Meadows. He is survived by his four sons, Daniel R. Meadows (Caterina), Gregory L. Meadows, Glenn F. Meadows and Robert A. Meadows Jr. (Mellissa), grandchildren Haley Malloy (Danny), Kasey Meadows and Courtney Meadows and two great-grandchildren Abby and Gavin, sister Anita Mason and brother-in-law Jason Mason of Alexander City.
