Robert Allen “Bob” Pyles, 70 of Independence, WV passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side. He was born September 23, 1943 in Independence, son of the late Camden A and Beulah Myrle Mitter Pyles. Bob graduated from Newburg High School. He was a Truck Driver for Garbert Trucking and Bob Demick for many years, and also worked on the Saw Mill. He loved working on cars and trucks, loved his animals, Tom, Maggie and Thumper. Surviving are one brother, Burl “Sonny” Pyles and companion Cathy Sapp; several nieces and nephews, Burl Sapp Jr and companion, Denise Greenlee, Donald “Buddy” Pyles and Tracy, Chad Sapp and Amanda, Dorothy Myers and Ed, Helen Pisino, Robert Moon, Mike Moon, Carla Smith and Kerry; one aunt, Goldie Pyles Pratt, and many cousins and a good friend, Frankie Diaz. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his companion, Ella Dillsworth, one half sister, Helen Tichnell, one half brother, Charles Moon. .
