Robert Alexander Steed, age 70, of Louisburg passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his home.
Born in Vance County on June 11, 1952, he was the son of the late Mary Kearson Steed and Clifton Leon Steed.
Robert was retired from, Nu-Teck Paving. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in his yard and on the family farm. He was always ready to help his friends and neighbors.
Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years, Alona Steed, one daughter, Raven, who is serving in the Army in Alaska, one sister, Susan Adcock of Henderson, sister-in-law, Pat Steed of Henderson and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, he leaves behind the family of his step son, Joe.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Leon; his nephew, David; brother-in-law, Wayne. Also, his step son, Joe Cochrane.
