Robert A. Vileno,86, of Silver Ridge Park North a section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Saturday July 26, 2014 at his home. Born in New Rochelle, NY he lived in Lanoka Harbor, NJ before moving to Silver Ridge, NJ in 1997.
Robert proudly served his country in the Merchant Marine and the US Air Force during both WWII and the Korean War. Robert was a Fire Fighter in New Rochelle, NY with Station #2 for 25 years. He was the Vice President of the UFFA (United Fire Fighters Assoc.). He was a parishioner and usher at St. Barnabas RC Church in Bayville, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ann (Kischak) Vileno.
Surviving is his loving wife Joan (Lesperance) Vileno; three daughters Debra Sexton of Brick, NJ, Linda Tiernan of Maryland and Michele Martinez of So. Brunswick, NJ; one brother Donald Vileno of Florida; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
