Anthony Robert “Bob” Vetrone, 68, of Valdosta, GA., formerly of East Haven, died suddenly Oct. 19, 2008 in Rocky Hill while attending his 50th class reunion, East Haven High School, Class of 1958. Born in New Haven Aug. 16, 1940, he was the son of the late Vincent J. “Jimmy” Vetrone and Katherine Scully Vetrone Bolduc. His father was a well respected educator in both the New Haven and East Haven School Systems. Bob served with the U.S. Army in Europe from 1960 to 1963 and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1965. He worked for Uniroyal and Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Co. until 1988, with a rich career in human resource management in Naugatuck, Conn., Detroit, Mich. and Eau Claire, Wisc.
