Robert A. “Bob” Lestikow, 60, of Freeport, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Stephenson Nursing Center, Freeport. Born May 22, 1947 in Adeline, IL he was the son of Marshall and Isabelle (Bauscher) Lestikow.
On August 29, 1972, he married Cynthia Cummins in Freeport. She preceded him in death in April of 1999. Bob worked as a custodian for Freeport High School for many years, as a resident of Stephenson Nursing Center he loved to volunteer his services in many different areas in the nursing home.
Surviving is his son, Timothy (Courtney) Lestikow, of Janesville, WI; Three brothers Russell (Norma) Lestikow of Freeport, Eugene (Phyllis) Lestikow of Ridott, and Jim (Polly) Lestikow of AZ; one sister, Leona (Roy) Wolf of Cedarville; two grandchildren, Aslynn and Ava Grace Lestikow both of Janesville, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother Clifford and 1 sister Vera.
