Robert Allen “Al” Mundy of Moscow died Thursday morning, December 28th at Gritman Medical Center. He was 81. Al was born July 11, 1936 in Rolla, North Dakota to R. Dewey and Effie Nyberg Mundy. He grew up and attended school in St. John, ND. In 1954 he moved to Chinook, Montana where he began an apprenticeship with Great Northern Railroad as a machinist. It was there he met Dayle LaRayne Hobbs and they were married in Chinook on May 20, 1956.
