Robbie Nell (Wilson) Hughes, age 88, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on July 31, 2022.
She was born on November 27th, 1933 in Lexington, TN to Robert C. And Rena E. Jordan Wilson. She was devoted to her family and her church. Robbie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and “Mimi“ to her grandchildren. Survivors include her children Wilson (Buddy) Hughes of Tuscaloosa, AL, Sammie Eaton of Talent, OR and Penny Rigler of Kensington, MD; her 4 grandchildren, Mary McCall Eaton, Kele Eaton, Sam Rigler, Wilson Rigler as well as sisters Edna Maxwell and Barbara Canady. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years L. Sam Hughes, her parents and 6 siblings Betty Jo Jowers, Jane Frasco, James Wilson, Neil Wilson, Diane Melton and Bobby Wilson.
Robbie will be truly missed, but her family finds strength in knowing that she is with God and is reunited with her adoring husband and wonderful siblings. The family wishes to express sincere thanks for all of the prayers and love shown to us during this difficult time.
