Robbie Lee Taylor Dickerson, 75, Anderson, passed away February 21, 2012 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born March 5, 1936 in Livingston, Tennessee.
Robbie moved to Anderson at six years old and graduated from Anderson High School in 1955. She worked at Payless Supermarket, then went to work at General Motors until she retired in 1981. Robbie was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her grandchildren.
Robbie raised two of her grandson, Kerry and Michael Jackson. She was very loving and will be dearly missed. Robbie loved to fish. She is survived by her children, Gary Dickerson Robin of Anderson, Beth Stafford of Alexander and Marvin Dickerson Tasha of Anderson; grandchildren, Kerry Jackson, Michael Jackson, Sheila Hall, Shauna Swafford, Sha Henry, Chelsea, Chase, Chad, Cody and Tyler Dickerson and Stephanie Tjalsma; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Hobbs of Daleville and Betty Bud Dietrich of Anderson; aunt, Lois Matthews of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Dickerson on March 26, 2002; parents, Oriel Augustus & Mary Evalee Wallace Taylor; and brothers, Jim Taylor and Bud Taylor.
