On March 4, 2022, Robbie Dean Miller passed at the age of 90..
Born the son of Sherman and Geraldine (nee McVicker) Miller in Pennsylvania he would come to live in Glen Burnie in the 70’s.
Robbie is a veteran of the Korean War 1950-54, serving in the the United States Air Force as a Staff Sargent, Senior Aircraft Jet Engine Mechanic. He later would work for United Airlines as a mechanic and retired a Supervisor after more than 25 years service. Rob was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he would serve as a lay minister and do mission work. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 3413 where he achieved the 4th Degree and served as the Grand Knight. He was very interested in genealogy and did extensive research into his family heritage and was particularly proud of his McVicker Scottish roots. Robbie was a sports buff and loved Orioles baseball. He loved the sport so much he even traveled to various baseball stadiums across the country.
Robbie is reunited in his passing with his dear wife Cecilia (nee Leginze) who precedes him just a year ago. Surviving him are his loving children, Mark and wife Kathy Miller, Kevin and spouse Jennifer Miller, Brian and wife Lori Miller, Denise Skarson and husband Marty and Annette Gunther and spouse Mitch. He will be cherished in the memories of his dear grandchildren, Jacob and Karen Skarson and Bryan Doubt, Mitchell, Daniel and Joseph Gunther, Julie Jacobs and husband Josh and Jesse Levi and Aaron Miller. Robbie’s legacy continues in his beloved great grandchildren Wayne and Colton Jacobs and Sophia and Annabelle Skarson.
Robbie leaves his dear brothers, Herman Miller and Lee and his wife Patsy and In-laws, Barbara Miller and Tom Klelt to mourn the loss as well as Aaron, Heather, Ashley, Mila and Noah. Finally he joins his siblings Vernon, Sherman and Bonnie in eternal rest.
