In 2001 he married his wife Elana. Rob is survived by his wife, his brother Rick Maxson and his nephew George Hammond, II as well as other loving family and friends. He will be missed by his fur babies Olive and Blue. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Shirley (nee: Peek) Maxson. Rob was a very sweet and stubborn man and was the owner of Rob’s Shoe Repair in Dearborn Heights. He was an avid reader who enjoyed sci-fi fantasy novels and participating in traditional archery; he was also a member of Scarlet Company.
