Riva Jane Callahan, 80, Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday December 20, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. at her residence, Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Callahan was born February 9, 1940, in Huntington, IN, to Karl and Ruth LaBar. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Callahan married William Callahan on August 23, 1958. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Callahan was a 1958 graduate of Huntington Township High School. Attended International Business College in Marion, IN. She was a member of the Purdue Extension Homemakers Club. She was a gifted marimba player and traveled, playing at many churches and for radio stations. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and was an avid Purdue fan.
She is survived by two sons, William N. (Tonia) Callahan, and Joseph D. Callahan, both of Huntington, IN; three daughters Ruth L. Bonner (Roy Knight), West Virginia, Rose (Scott) Mills and Riva E. Callahan, both of Huntington, IN. Also surviving is five Grandchildren, Trinity Bonner (Tom Wilcox), Justin Bonner, Ryan (Jennifer) Bonner, Aarron Campbell and Courtney Wilcox and 6 great Grandchildren, Austin, Rhand, Brianna, Tommy, Zoey and Ariel.
