Rita Ursula Boyle Rita Boyle, 87, formerly of Amelia Island, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2019 at her home in Suntree. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clyde, and her children, Thomas Boyle and Kathleen Simko. Also survived by her seven grandchildren, Leah Roszkowiak, Lindsey Boyle, Annie Boyle, Christopher Boyle, Laura Simko, Andrew Simko, and Matthew Simko and brother, Ludwig “Sonny” Ostendorf. Rita was born in Flatbush Brooklyn in 1931, to Lambertha and Ludwig Ostendorf, immigrants from Bremen, Germany. Rita’s family moved to Laurelton, Queens when she was ten years old where she attended public school. Rita met her future husband, Clyde, while working at the Springfield National Bank in Queens.
