Rita Sussko, 97 of Manchester Township, formerly of Union, died February 23, 2019. She was born September 3, 1921 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania to the late Anthony and Mary Milbut. Rita was a loving mother, devoted wife and trusted friend.
She was a secretary for the Knight of Lithuania and also the Federal Pacific Electric Company. She was known to always have a great sense of humor and loved visiting her grandchildren, shopping, animals and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Rita is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Michael Sussko; daughter, Michele Fontenot; brother, Robert Milbut; sisters, Clara Schiavo; Marie Messina; Celestine Senkewicz; Bernadette Krieger; Anna Miltenberger and Eleanor Cavallo. Rita is survived by her daughter, Sandy Detwiler and her husband Alan of Caledonia, Michigan; brother, Arthur Milbut and his wife Carmen of Florida; sister, Consuella Karchefsky and her husband Chester of Painesville, Ohio; son in law, Noson Fontenot; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
