Rita Kay (Keesling) Weir, 67, of Chesterfield, passed away on September 29, 2021. She was born on May 25, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Madison County most of her life.
Rita graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1972, and earned an associate degree from Anderson Business College.
She was a homemaker, and retired from Walmart in 2017.
She was a member of East Christian Church of Markleville, the Homemakers Extension of Madison County and Praying Grandmas. Rita liked all types of crafts, especially quilting and sewing, but most importantly she loved spoiling her grandbabies.
Rita is survived by her loving children, Kenneth Brian Weir, Laura Weir, Darla (Thomas) Kottlowski, and Kendra (Zachary) Seal; and grandchildren, Patrik (Madison), Kaela, Brandon, Molly, Hayden, Isaac, Noah, Andrew, and Kenzie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Beverly Keesling; and brothers, Gary Keesling and James Keesling.
