Rita C. Ulrich, 72, of 1305 Adele Road, Montoursville, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at The Gatehouse Hospice.
Rita and her husband, Robert S. Ulrich, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6, 2008.
Rita retired from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1997 after 29 years of teaching. Prior to Penn College, she taught for ten years at South Williamsport Senior High School. She was a member of the Williamsport-Lycoming County Council of Republican Women and served as Secretary for a number of years. She enjoyed politics, tole painting and working on the computer. She was an excellent knitter and loved her cats.
Born October 7, 1936 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Henry and Irene Falcowski Krzywicki.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a sister, Doris K. Smith of Basking Ridge, NJ.
Rita was predeceased by a sister, Jeanne Krzywicki and a brother, Gerry Krzywicki.
