Rita Audet 85, of 100 Front St. died Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Gerard Audet. Mrs. Audet was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Michel and Jeanne (Schmitt) Mathieu. She spent most of her life as a homemaker , taking care of her family. In her younger days she worked in the drawing room at the former Alsace Worsted Co. for ten years. Rita was a member of the Crepeau Court Social Club.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond G. Audet of Warwick, and Ronald M. Audet and his wife Annette of North Smithfield and a grandson Michael Audet.
