Rita A. Walther, 59, of Peru, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Rita was born August 7, 1962 in Peru to Reuben and Mildred J. (Hoffman) Walther. She enjoyed exercising and was always pursing new interests.
She is survived by her three children; Brian (Jenilyn) Roether of Peru, Brenna Roether of Peoria, and Shannon Herman of Ottawa; four grandchildren; Reuben and Cora Roether, and Nora and Juliette Herman; siblings; Teresa Studebaker of Peru, Dave (Lynn) Walther of Floresville, TX, Barbara (Mike) Bacidore of Mendota, and Karen (Vince) Kasperski of Peru and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
