Randy is survived by sons, Steven Hunt and wife Janet, of Longview, Texas, Doug Hunt and wife Teresa, of Farmington; daughter, Patsy Langlitz and husband Leonard of Albuquerque; and five grandchildren, Brian Hunt, Kyle Hunt, Curtis Hunt, Christopher Langlitz and Shayna Langlitz. She was preceded in death her husband Dale; her parents, Andrew and Margaret Strang; sisters Alice Kern and Dorothy Beyer, and brothers Melvin Strang, Lawrence Strang, George Strang, and Sylvester Strang. One of 10 children, Randy grew up in Madison, South Dakota, married Dale on Feb. 16, 1956, and moved to New Mexico in 1958. She worked for a time at the Green Stamps Store, but was mostly a homemaker taking care of her children and her home. Randy was a devoted fan of both her children’s and grandchildren’s sports activities, traveling across the Southwest with Dale to watch them play. During their younger years, Randy and Dale would spend nights playing pinochle with their dear friends, Pat and Sally Murphy, and would always bring home one or two extra kids to spend the night. Randy and Dale also helped raise their nephew Craig Strang when he was young. At the Hunt’s home, Christmas season started on Thanksgiving weekend with trips to the local craft fairs in search of decorations and gifts for the family.
