Rigoberto Garay, 40, resident of Las Cruces passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
Rigoberto was born June 4, 1982, in Las Cruces to Salvador Sr. and Maria (Esquivel) Garay. Rigoberto was a loving and caring man and loved to be around his family. There was never a time he liked to be alone, always needed and enjoyed company. He was a collector of shoes and clothing and always liked to look his best. He also had a love for stuffed animals. Rigoberto had a love for music, gambling, especially horse races and was an avid fan of the Las Vegas Raiders. He will truly be missed by all.
He is survived by his siblings, Albert Garay of Amarillo, TX, Delia (Pete) Zuniga of Peoria, AZ, Salvador (Elizabeth) Garay Jr., Jose Garay, Amparo Magallanes all of Las Cruces, Andrea (Ricardo) Rodriguez and Lourdes (Javier) Camarena both of Deming. As well as many numerous nieces and nephews.
Rigoberto is preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Maria Garay.
