Ricky Lane Mason, age 53, of Omaha, AR. passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009. He was born on July 16, 1956 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Arthur Mason and Allie Peace Mason. Rickys early childhood years were spent in Ohio, where the Mason family lived. Over 20 years ago he moved to Carroll County, to live close to his sister, Nina and her family. Ricky had been self-employed as a mason before becoming disabled. He enjoyed being outdoors and especially enjoyed all kinds of yard work. He loved people and was loved by all who knew him. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #2208 in Harrison, AR. He is survived by four sisters, Nina Denton of Omaha, Elmon Faye McCain and Beverly both of Dayton Ohio, Kay Nance of Corbin, Kentucky, brothers, James Paul and Glen Mason of Dayton, Ohio, step-brother, Donnie Gregory of Dayton, Ohio, son, Ricky Mason of Dayton, Ohio and special niece and nephew, Damon Denton of Jacksonville, Florida and Rhonda Ronnie Denton of Norfolk, Virginia (U.S. Naval Base) and girl friend, Dana Arnold of Harrison. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Roy Lee Mason and one sister Carol Elizabeth.
