He enjoyed porch fellowship and gatherings with family and friends. He enjoyed his weekend motorcycle adventures. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Lamar and Peggy Owens.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Malcom Pickelsimer; nephews, Wes and Ale Pickelsimer, Tyler Pickelsimer, Andrew and Kristin Pickelsimer and their children Holt and Noah; special friends, Irene Hearn and Dennis Patterson; and his beloved fur baby, Bear.
