Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Rita Kimbro Pruitt, Morganton, GA six grandchildren, Aubrey Willoughby, Maklaya Day, Alona Nicole Pruitt, Luke Willoughby, McKenzie Day, Heather Lynn Pruitt; sisters, Rita Annette and husband, Frankie Farr, Gainesville, GA, and Cheryl Pruitt and husband, Terry Chambers, Gainesville, GA; and other relatives.
Mr. Pruitt was born on January 15, 1952 in Buford, GA.
He was a 1970 graduate of South Hall High School and also of Gwinnett Hall Baptist College. Mr. Pruitt was a commercial construction worker as a superintendent, and he was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church in Buford, GA.
