Rickie Lee Ridder of Belleville, KS formerly Hebron, NE the son of Theodore and Vernetta (Fry) Ridder was born December 15, 1949 in Hebron, NE. He departed this life Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Belleville Care Center in Belleville, KS at the age of 72 years.
Rick grew up in Chester, NE attending school and graduating from Chester High School with the class of 1968, he continued his education at Fairbury Junior College and then Hastings Tech School receiving a degree Electrical Technician. He worked as an electrician for Short Electric in Hastings, NE before he moved to Colorado and continued his career.
Rick liked being outside in God’s great creation, hunting with his friends and his brother. He was athletic in high school playing foodball, basketball and track.
When his health failed, he moved back to Hebron working at Ken-Boy Chevrolet, and Hebron Liquor Store.
Rick liked to travel, and drive. He loved being in his car going anywhere as long as he was behind the wheel.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Janet Ridder.
He is survived by his brother Lynn Ridder of Belleville, KS, nieces, nephews and many friends.
