Rickie Lee Johnson, age 70, of Tipton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 11, 2020. He was born on September 28, 1949 in Kokomo, IN to his parents, Alfred Johnson and Mary Katherine (Fisher) Johnson.
Rickie graduated from Taylor High School in the class of 1968, he then went on to serve proudly in the United States Navy. On June 5, 2015, Rickie married Peggy (Coleman) Johnson, and the two of them have been very thankful for the time they had together.
Rickie was a kindhearted, outgoing, loving man. He never met a stranger; and had the ability to talk to anyone about anything. He loved his family well, and took the time to make each of them feel special and important. Rickie enjoyed fishing (mostly at Kokomo Reservoir) and gardening with his wife. Rickie worked as a brick layer for many years.
Those left to carry on Rickie’s legacy of love are his Wife, Peggy (Coleman) Johnson; Kids, Richard “Jed” Johnson, Justin Johnson and Karen (Jeff) Barber; Grandkids, Cody Semenick, Jada Quarles and Abigail Semenick; Great Grandchild, Sebastian Semenick; Sister, Cindy Johnson; Nephew, James (Michelle) Woodbury; Niece, Rachel (Scott) Harris; and his beloved dog, Molly Mae.
