Rickey Derone Skinner, 62 of Concord passed away Friday, May 2, 2014. He was born Tuesday, February 5, 1952 in Wynne, Arkansas to the late George W. Skinner and Fredonia Fowler. Rickey loved to spend time with his family. He had a reputation for being a “family man” by taking float trips, making bacon, eggs and coffee at the family camping trips, and supporting the kid’s ball games in Concord.
Rickey leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 42 years, Joyce Thomas Skinner whom he adored and together they were inseparable; a son, Rickey Derone Skinner II and his wife Karen; a daughter, Sherri Leigh Decker and her husband Brian; four grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Mahala Decker, Macy Decker, Maddie Decker, Toni Skinner; his mother, Louise Skinner; brothers and sisters, Dwayne Skinner, Terry Skinner, Jimmie Skinner, Randy Skinner, Timmy Skinner, Jerry Skinner, Carl Skinner, Paul Skinner, Pam Heil, Sheila Seymour, Cheryl Rasco, Tina Skinner Osborn, Krissie Weeks; many other relatives and a host of friends.
