Rick J. Miller, 60, of Centralia passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri surrounded by family.
He was born August 7, 1957 in Centralia, Illinois, son of Harry “Bud” Miller and Kathryn “Kathy” (Phelps) Miller. He married Susan Elliott on January 18, 1992 and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 26 years, Susan Miller of Centralia, he is also survived by two daughters: Tracey Starr and husband Rick of Centralia and Stacey Adams and husband Jason of Patoka; six grandchildren: Colton Hill, Brookelynn Hill, Sara Starr, Bradey Starr, Chesni Adams, and one on the way; two brothers: Jeff Miller and wife Lori of Louisiana, Missouri and Phil Miller and wife Tonya of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Floyd Elliott and Jessie Elliott.
Rick was the owner and operator of Specialty Lube in Centralia. He was a member of Little Grove Christian Church in Walnut Hill. He enjoyed working, drag races and car shows. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
