Richard W. Wray, 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 9, 2021 in Kearny, NJ. Rich was born on March 9, 1960, in Bronx, NY. He attended Kearny High School in Kearny, NJ, and Smith Vocational High School in Northampton, MA. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Kearny. Rich worked as a cook for Paul’s Diner for many years and later was a taxi cab driver in Kearny. He loved to spend time with family and friends. Rich also enjoyed cooking and gardening and had a green thumb for tomato plants in particular.
Rich is predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Shirley Wray, and his wife, Tammy Marie Haum Wray.
Rich is survived by his brothers Fred, and Donald Wray, his sisters Patty and Lisa Wray, as well as five nieces and a nephew.
