Obituary of Richard William Kuse
Kuse, Richard “Dick” age 70, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Saginaw with his family by his side. Richard was born August 4, 1950 in Saginaw the son of the late Keith and Norma (Federspiel) Kuse. He was united in marriage to the former Jean Storms on January 22, 1988; she survives him.
Dick graduated from Arthur Hill High School and went on to Central Michigan University where he earned a degree in Education. He retired after 30 years from Lorillard Tobacco Company. Dick enjoyed bowling, fishing, jogging, playing golf and listening to Frank Sinatra for hours on end. He and Jean enjoyed hanging out with friends and socializing at the Scottish Inn for over 40 years. One of his favorite places was Las Vegas; he loved going with his family friends whenever he could. Dick also enjoyed getting together with family for the holidays; Christmas was always his favorite holiday.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jean; daughter, Cherie and husband Pat “P.J.” Salabak; two granddaughters, Brittney Carle and Ricki Salabak; and three great-grandchildren, Charleigh, Jase and Cierra Leath.
In keeping with Dick’s wishes cremation has taken place and there are no services planned. Those planning to do an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital Seton Cancer Institute – Saginaw.
