Richard Wayne Carter, age 89, of Newnan, died March 11, 2016. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas on October 24, 1926, to the late Raymon Arce and Jewell Bynum Carter. Wayne’s professional life was with the Piccadilly Cafeterias. At the time of his retirement, he was Director of Tech Services for Piccadilly Cafeterias Inc, District Manager 1973-1990, Manager Greenbrier 1965-1973. Moved to Newnan 1978. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Newnan.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Estelle Pavelka Carter, and also his daughter Donna Carter Brazell. He is survived by his son Jerrel Carter and his wife Cynthia of Newnan, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Also, surviving is his son-in-law John Brazell.
