Richard Wycoff McNamara
Richard Wycoff McNamara, age 75, of Danbury, CT, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Josephine Montevechi) McNamara.
Richard was born in Queens, NY, November 30, 1937, son of the late Thomas and Minnie McNamara. Served in the US Army, and worked in the Auto Body Industry most of his life and at one point owning a MAACO shop, of which he was very proud. He loved woodturning, creating hundreds of different projects throughout the years in his treasured workshop. He was a member of various woodturning clubs.
Besides his wife of 48 years, he is survived by son: Steven McNamara and wife Susanne of Davenport, FL; daughter Christine Trendell and her husband Benjamin of Canton, MA; Sister: Mary McNamara of Glendale, NY; 5 grandchildren: Emily & Peter McNamara; Jack, Stephanie & Fiona Trendell; Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother: Thomas McNamara.
