Prospect – Mr. Richard W. Lemke, age 70, of Prospect, passed away at Waterbury Hospital on Tuesday November 18, 2014. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Toronto) Lemke. Mr. Lemke was born in Milford on February 13, 1944 a son of the late Edward and Evelyn (McCloud) Lemke. He was retired from the Town of Weston where he had worked as an equipment operator for many years. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lemke is survived by a daughter: Christine Almeida and her husband Carlos of Naugatuck, a son: Richard W. Lemke, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Naugatuck, two sisters: Carol Welsh and Jean Ward, six brothers: Joseph Lemke, Thomas Lemke, Carl Lemke, William Lemke, Gene-Allen Vogt and Samuel Lemke, three grandchildren: Elliott, Charles and Samuel and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister: Evelyn Decker and three brothers: Ralph Lemke, Edward Lemke and Albert Lemke.
