Richard W. Gerrard, age 72, of Green Forest AR passed away on January 3, 2012 in his home. He was born October 5, 1939 in Littleton, CO, son of the late Richard Gail Gerrard and Mina Elizabeth (Nickels) Gerrard. Richard served his country in the U.S. Army (special service demolition) and later served with Arkansas National Guards. He was united in marriage to Karen Hill in 1966. Richard retired from Tysons, but was self-employed for many years at other jobs. He worked as a Drilling Consultant in several different states and in Saudi Arabia (on and off shores), owned a restaurant, worked as a mason and owned an arts and craft store. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He is survived by his three daughters; Teresa Teter and husband Kevin of Berryville, Vonna Gerrard and husband George Rees of Riverton, Utah, Rebekah and husband David Duhon of Green Forest, one son, Billie Joe Gerrard of Green Forest, 16 grandchildren,4 great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents,his wife, Karen on November 24th 2011, one son, Richard Gerrard Jr. and one grandson, Brenon Ray Gerrard.
