On Thursday, September 8th, Richard W. Bramble quietly passed away at the age of 85. A lifelong resident of Burlington City, Richard went thorough the Burlington City Public School system graduating in 1943.
Shortly thereafter he was drafted into the United States Army where he bravely fought for his country in World War II with the 273rd Infantry, 69th Division, earning a Purple Heart. Richard spent 37 years as a clerk with Public Service Electric and Gas both in Burlington and Audobon.
He was active in local politics for many years before retiring to a life of doting husband and avid Philly sports fan. Always the snappy dresser, he enjoyed dancing to the oldies with his wife Jeanne as they followed their special bands for years. He was predeceased by his loving wife Jeanne and his daughter Patti Weisman. He is survived by his two sons; Ric, Robert and his wife, Kim, and his precious grandchildren; Jenna, Dana and Quinn all of whom made him so proud.
