Richard V. Tassinari, 88, of Plymouth, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his home. He was the husband of Joan E. (Vandini) Tassinari, and the son of the late Chester and Ada (Pincelli) Tassinari. Born and raised in Plymouth, Richard was a graduate of Plymouth High School Class of 1950 where he was a well-rounded athlete and scholar. He graduated from New England College of Pharmacy in Boston in 1954. A dedicated pharmacist, he was the proud owner of Balboni’s Drug Store in North Plymouth which he bought from his uncle Joe Balboni and where he worked with his family. He was adored and dedicated to his local customers for over 60 years. An avid and talented golf player, Richard was an active member at Plymouth Country Club for many years. He also traveled to various destinations around the country to play golf. Richard enjoyed going out for lunch with his wife and often treated his whole family out to dinner around town in Plymouth. Besides his beloved wife Joan, Richard will be sadly missed by his children, Joan Alberti and her husband Evo of Plymouth, Joyce Silva of Plymouth, Richard “Tee” Tassinari Jr. and his wife Michelle of Plymouth, and Elizabeth Tassinari of Plymouth. He also leaves his grandchildren Gina Carrese and her husband Dr. Jason Carrese, Christina Silva, Maddelyn and Avabella Tassinari, and his great grandchildren Arianna and Leo
