Richard Torrey of Plymouth formerly of Norwell , died on June 13th unexpectedly. He is the beloved fiancée of Joanne Meeks of Plymouth. Born in Weymouth, March 19, 1946, son of the late Kenneth A. and Esther M. (Ferbert) Torrey. He was educated in Norwell and a graduate of Norwell High School. He was a longtime employee of Simms Marine Service in Marshfield where he worked as a dispatcher. After his retirement he went to work with his fiancée Joanne at their gift shop the Whimsical Wishes in Village Landing on Plymouth’s Waterfront. Besides his beloved Joanne he leaves his sons Shawn Torrey and his wife Paulette of Marshfield and Daniel Torrey and his wife Gina of Marshfield and his daughter Jennifer Torrey. He is the grandfather of Reilly, Bella, Luca and Emma. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
