Richard T. Gentry, 64, went to be with The Lord on October 8, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away at his home surrounded by his loving wife and sister-in-law.
Richard was born June 13, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Paul and Marie (Schussler) Gentry. He entered the United States Air Force where he served for six years and was honorably discharged. Richard was united in marriage to Martha Leturgec on January 29, 1983. In 1991, they moved to Niceville, Florida and recently moved to Fort Walton Beach in February of 2007. Richard worked as an insurance agent for seventeen years and most recently was a long-haul truck driver for the past thirteen years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Gentry of Fort Walton Beach, FL; son, Jeff Gentry and wife, Carrie, of Greenwood, IN; daughter, Gayle Pannell and husband, Kevin, of Indianapolis, IN; stepson, Ryan Parker and wife, DeeAnn, of Dewey, OK; three grandchildren, Josh, Paige and Sebastian; one step granddaughter, Crystal; one step great-granddaughter, Alexis; one sister, Barb Gentry of Avon, IN.
