Richard T. Nolan of Burlington Township, passed away at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice at Virtua in Mt. Holly on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 peacefully at the age of 91. Dick was born in Burlington, NJ January 14, 1925 to Richard M and Bridie Nolan. Dick was a proud WWII Veteran serving in the US Army Air Corps. His unit the 384 HBG 8th AF flew from Grafton Underwood, England.

He was a waist and tail gunner in B-17’s and flew 35 combat missions over France and Germany. Dick retired after 35 years as a Foreman from NJ Bell Telephone (AT&T). Dick was married to Jean form 67 years until her passing in 2013 and she was dearly missed. Dick was preceded in death by Jean and his daughter Carolyn in 1978 a brother John and a sister Maureen. Dick is survived by his son Richard and his wife Mary of Keeseville, NY; grandsons: Richard and Michael of San Diego, Ca Elizabeth (Fiancee) of Michael and Darby their mother who was like a daughter to him. Dick also had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who he cherished.
