Mr. Sasscer passed away on Monday October 10th, 2022 at his residence. He was born March 14, 1933, in Schenectady, New York, to Clarence DeSales Sasscer and Madeline Rogers Sasscer.
He was a Supervisor and Librarian for the United States Geological Survey, prior to his retirement. He enjoyed archeology, fishing, archery, tennis, Western movies and NFL football. He was an avid bird watcher and especially loved owls. Mr. Sasscer has also written several publications including: U.S. Geological Survey Library Classification System and the Tribal Bibliography of Tanzania.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother: John Clarence Sasscer and a sister: Nancy Casper.
