Richard “Dick” Russo, Esq., 60, of Hanover Township, was surrounded by the love of his family when he peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Claire (McCarthy) Russo, with whom he shared over 20 years of loving marriage.
Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Ernest W. Russo, Esq., and Pietrina (Camarda) Russo. He graduated from Lopatcong Elementary School in 1972, from Phillipsburg High School in 1976, from Lafayette College (his father’s alma mater) in 1980, and from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1985. He worked as an attorney with Russo, Russo and Russo from 1985 until 2017, and was a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania state Bar Associations. Dick was an avid history buff, and visited many Presidents’ homes. He enjoyed many annual vacations to Wildwood, NJ, and loved the ocean and his pool. Dick was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.
Survivors: wife Claire; daughter Grace Russo; sisters Nancy Russo, Esq., and her companion Karl V. Fluck, III, Geraldine R. Light and her husband Michael J. Light; brother-in-law Brian J. McCarthy and his wife Josephine; nephews Michael J. Light, II, Esq., Joseph M. Light, Michael J. McCarthy; niece Jessica L. Gruner; and grand nieces and nephew.
