Richard Russell, age 60, went home to be with his Lord on March 28, 2010. He was born on January 30, 1950 in Hobart, OK to the late Richard Russell and Norma Jones Russell. On August 23, 1969, in Grantspass, Oregon he married the love of his life, Gail Martin. They had six children together. 16 years ago they moved their family to Carroll County (Osage community). Richard was an Electrician and was employed for IBEW (local 700 union). He was a member of New Hearts Church in Harrison, where he played the acoustic guitar on the praise and worship team. His was very devoted to his faith, family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his first love was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Gail, of Green Forest, daughters, Angela Lewis of Ava, Missouri, Susan Jones of Harrison and Priscilla Potter of Republic, MO, sons, Matthew Russell of Fayetteville, Richie Russell, of Fayetteville and Josh Russell of Osage, brothers, Dave Russell of Oregon and Donny Russell of Las Vegas, Nevada, sister Linda Harrington of Anchorage, Alaska and 10 grandchildren . He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Cheri Russell.
