Richard Thomas Rorvik passed away August 23, 2014 at the Teton Nursing Home in Choteau, MT with his family by his side.

Dick, as everyone called him, was born October 31, 1928 in Circle, MT to Joe and Dorothy Rorvik. He graduated from Simms High School in 1948. Dick worked several odd jobs until he got on a survey crew in the Columbia Basin in Washington State. This is where he met his future wife.

Dick married Helen Louise Bruns on April 13, 1956 in Othello, WA. They moved to Montana shortly afterward. He then worked at the Greenfield Irrigation District until his retirement.

Dick was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many capacities, including a one year church mission.

Dick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen; daughters, Debbie (Dennis) Langel of Havre, Leanna (Kevin) Terry of Missoula; sons, David and Joe, both of Great Falls, Raymond of Dixon, CA and Robert of Choteau; ten granddaughters, one grandson, seven great-grandchildren and many others who called him Dad or Grandpa. He is also survived by his sisters, Vera (Dick) Bosik of Tacoma, WA, Maxine (Bill) McNew of Kingsport, TN; and one brother, Charles (Shirley) Rorvik of Lake Blaine, MT.

His parents, two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
