MERRIMAC – Richard Ayala, aka Ricoh, age 57, Served 10 yrs. in the U.S. Army as a Marksman M-16 Army Ranger. He was very proud to have served as a Soldier for his Country, and he served his Country with diligence.

One of his biggest passions were his guns, he would take them apart and put them back together with his eyes closed. He couldn’t be anymore giddy when someone asked about his guns. His smile so big, as if he was a child drooling over candy. The only other thing that could make him smile as much would be his grandchildren; he adored each and every one of them. When it came to the kitchen, he would pour his heart into every meal and took pride in showing others how to love the kitchen as well. He was that person to be right by your side to give a helping hand. You’d never have to ask.

Above all, family meant the world to him. He always spoke highly of his Dad and looked up to him. He loved his mother’s strength and her many talents and how both of his parents were determined to work and take care of their children, even when they butted heads he so Loved them dearly…
