Mr. Richard “Rickey” Finney, age 67, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at his residence. He was born on August 25th, 1953 in Opelika, Alabama.
Rickey is survived by his children, Chrissi Finney Bryan of LaGrange, Georgia, Claire Finney of Birmingham, Alabama, and Zane Finney of Valley, Alabama; grandson, Tristin Bryan of LaGrange, Georgia; mother, Penny Crowder of Valley; sister, Rene Crowder of Charlotte, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Crowder and his faithful dog, Ruby Jo Finney.
Rickey was a US Army veteran. He was a free spirit with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed watching college football, fishing, and golfing. He loved to listen to music and go to concerts.
