….A native of Tulsa, OK, he was a retired English teacher, coach, and school Administrator in TX, TN, and MS. Rick taught at Southside Upper and Nicholson Schools, after retirement. He was also the Interim Director at Union Baptist Academy. Rick became a Christian at Falls Creek Baptist Assembly in OK as a teen. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School and Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, MO, where he was President of the Student Body. Rick received his Master’s Degree from University of TN, Knoxville.. Rick was a member of Union Baptist Church, where he was a teacher and deacon..He was preceded in death by his mother, Ina May Stanley .The family would like to thank the caregivers at Highland Hospital, Picayune Rehab, Oschners Northshore, and St. Joseph Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Rick.Contributions may be made to the Union Baptist Church Academy, 1628 West Union Road, Picayune, MS 39466.
