Richard “Rick” Armstrong, passed away suddenly on January 13, 2021. Rick was born on June 13, 1948 to Floyd and Molly Armstrong in Pueblo, CO.
He met the love of his life Jackie at 15 and they have been together ever since. Rick graduated from South High School in 1966. He served in the Army and did a tour of Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Army Accommodation of Valor. Rick had a long career at the CF& I Steel Mill, where he made lifelong friends. You could always find him on the golf course. He loved golfing with his brothers. If he wasn’t golfing, he was either with his wife, grandkids, or taking a trip to his favorite place, Las Vegas.
