Richard J. Wadeka, 44, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2014. Richard was born September 13, 1969 to Patricia and the late Richard E. Wadeka in Bridgeport. He went to Foran High School and went on to attend Porter and Chester Career Institute.
He is survived by his wife, Anna and two children, Richie and Cassie; a sister, Michele Mendillo and brother in law Donald Mendillo. Richard had three nieces, Ashley, Amanda, and Alexa; and one nephew; Joseph. Also survived by mother in law, Angie Michalopoulos and father in law Nick Michalopoulos.
Richard actively coached both his children’s soccer teams for the past 4 years. He was greatly looked upon on as a fun and loving husband, father, and coach who enjoyed being on the soccer field any chance he got. He was affectionately loved by his children who will greatly miss their father.
