Richard “Red” McCabe 91, of Bayville, Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his home. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA., he lived in Parsippany, NJ before moving to Bayville in 1983. Richard was a proud WW II veteran serving in the US Army.
Richard worked as a Staff Manager with NJ Bell in Newark, NJ for many years. He was a member of the American Legion # 1000 in Trenton, NJ. He loved to travel and spending time with his family. Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years Elizabeth who passed away on February 13, 2019.
He is survived by his two sons Richard “Casey” McCabe and his wife Jeanette of St. Petersburg, FL, and Terence “Terry” McCabe of Bayville, NJ, his grandchildren Taylor and Ryan McCabe, two brothers Joseph and Robert McCabe and two sisters Sandy Palkowski and Maureen McCabe.
