Richard Urban, age 81, of DeMotte passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the Aperion Care Center in Roselawn.
Richard was born on January 10, 1938 in Chicago, IL to the late Albert and Julia (Satra) Urban. Richard graduated from the Chicago Vocational School class of 1946. Richard proudly served in the United States Army. On May 3, 1980 in Chicago, Richard married Fay LaSagna and she survives. Richard loved Cubs baseball, the Blackhawks, collecting and watching old movies, collecting and reading biographical books, learning about history, collecting LP’s and his dogs. Richard had attended the K V Bible Baptist Church. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Fay and several nieces and nephews.
Richard is preceded in death by his: parents; siblings, Joseph Urban, Betty Churchill, Mildred Dahlgren, Frank Knedlik, George Knedlik and Esther Knedlik. Friends may visit with the family at Jackson
