Richard Paul “Dick” Lamey, 82, of Hogansville died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at his home. He was born December 11, 1929 in Buffalo, NY to the late John Joseph Lamey & Margaret Frank Lamey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Carol Grimsey. Mr. Lamey served in the Merchant Marines and was also a volunteer Game Warden in the State of New York. He moved his family to Georgia While he was employed with Sylvia Electronics. He then retired from Panasonic as Quality Control Supervisor in their Peachtree City plant. Survivors include wife, Dolores Schumaker Lamey; children, Robert Paul Lamey, Margie (Jackie)Madaris, Pam (David) Perry, John Joseph Lamey III (Diane); grandchildren, Kristopher Lamey, Nicholas Lamey, Randi Lamey, J.J. Madaris, Jasun Madaris, Amanda Baine, Brittany Perry, John Joseph Lamey IV, Aleyxia Lamey, Jacob Lamey, Tristan Lamey; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Lamey of NY; and his beloved dog, T.
